This beautiful gallery-style framed artwork is part of the "Scriobh" collection, a celebration of meaningful words and phrases, hand made in Ireland.
This piece features the couplet "Two souls with but a single thought ; Two hearts that beat as one." These romantic words are from the pen of 19th century poet Friedrich Halm, whose name is hand-written in pencil beneath the mounted piece. The carving is an original design by artist Adam Grabski, meticulously molded, finished with a metal shell, matted and framed in a wooden shadow box frame behind glass. Each and every part of this artwork is produced individually by hand in Ireland.
The frame measures 9" x 13." The photographs show a straight-on view of the framed work, as well as an angled view showing the depth of the various elements.
Words have been cherished in Ireland since ancient Celts carved them on Ogden stones. This heartwarming sentiment is sure to bring comfort in times both good and bad and makes a beautiful addition to any home.
"Two Souls/Two Hearts" is available in two styles: Dark Iron metal finish with a white frame (item DEC-F-SOUL-I), and Bronze metal finish with a brown frame (DEC-F-SOUL-B). Choose your preferred color when placing the item in your basket.
